today...please?

With today being 2 days away from my due date, a full moon, 2 out-of-town friends in Richmond this weekend, my mom insistently stating that today, October 23, will be the big day and a random guy approaching me this morning saying that I'm gonna have my baby today....it would be really great if Baby Krieger does make his debut today...

Obviously God is in control and He knows when the perfect time is for our son to come into the world....but I'm really really hoping that God is making all these things happen this weekend because Baby Krieger will be coming!!

time for change

Ever since Steve and I have returned to the States, I've had a hard time keeping up with blogging. I can blame it on busyness, on lack of motivation, and other things. But I realized I also was just tired of our blog - I realized I wanted a change and honestly I couldn't figure out how to make our blog more visually appealing (ridiculous, I know) like so many other people's blogs. I guess I was having blog envy?

But in all honesty, I realized too that part of me not being motivated to blog was because our old blog was created for our time in Tanzania. Now that we're back I feel like it's a great time to start something new, something that doesn't have to be necessarily deep topics all the time. Now I feel like I can write about cooking or theology or quilting or babies or whatever I feel like writing about!

So without further ado...welcome to the new Krieger family blog!
